Hello I'm a new artist =P
I've been painting for approx 7 months.

Johan great work and they are excellent studies in value. They are pretty much grisaille under paintings as they are and would be nothing for you to glaze colour if you had the inclination to head in that direction. However, they are powerful statements as they are! Keep going!

Your painting is very dramatic and you have a good eye for likenesses. Have you tried charcoal with putty rubber to take out the charcoal? very liberating and messy!

I use acryllics on canvas =)
I've tried charcoal once or twice but I find it too messy =P
