Hosta

Hi. Here is a 14"x18" piece I did yesterday. I was supposed to work on a couple of pet portraits but did not have the right canvas for one, and no reference photo of the other. I had fun with this, trying to stay fairly loose. I found it to be arelaxing experience.

Does it work? Are the blooms enough of a focal point?

Re: Hosta

Works very well Frank! Nice dynamic composition and great color. Just enough pink vs. green. Nice loose brushwork!

Re: Hosta

Hi Frank. I think your flower turned out lovely. The flower is very delicate looking..........Lenore
