Cool Floral

I've been playing around with masking fluid, paint, and the handy-dandy water-bottle after seeing a demo on "bluegenes" site. She said these were addictive...They are. I've posted several in watermedia but this one I've not added anything to it.
I'm tempted to warm it up some by glazing but wanted to run it by you all and see what you think.

13x13 1/2 on Fabriano c/p. All artist grade w/c, different brands, Daniel Smith being one.

Ignore the date on the camera date...it's not been reset! Too much trouble.

Re: Cool Floral

What fun! It makes me want to play with my paints. I don't think I would warm it up, I like it as it is.

Re: Cool Floral

Marcia,

It is a lovely combination of colors and interesting shapes thanks to the techniques you used.

I like it just the way it is, but I can see where you might be tempted to add a little variation in values with glazing as well.

Show us if you do decide to make some changes. It's a very nice abstract painting!

Re: Cool Floral

Oh Marcia.. Put a 4inch antique white mat around this painting and frame it in a simple narrow frame.

Well done!!!!!!!!

Re: Cool Floral

Oh thank you Gibbs, Sylvia and JJ (good to see you on here)!!!
I appreciate the comments. I like it like it is, adding something with glazed wouldn't hurt but then again, it would change the dynamics of the painting.
Everyone I do is different. And I can't seem to "re-create" the same painting.
But, if I get another one kind of like this, I may experiment with some glazes.
If I do, in the end decide to add a little to this, I will post.
Thanks again for stopping by!
