This was the other painting I was trying to resize unsuccessfully several days ago. Finally i improved my skills and here I go again.I read a book on techniques in acrylics written by a team of Spanish artists and teachers and loved the demos in the book.I tried to apply their ideas in my paintings using my own reference images. This one is one of the paintings inspired by the book./My seascape of the town of Nessebar was another one/.It depicts the Balkan Mountain Chain in Bulgaria.I took the reference photo quite a while ago.I don't know why my camera did not show the correct color of the furthest range. Its actual color is purple.
Your CxC are highly appreciated.

Re: In The Mountains

Nice bright colours. I like how the blue/purple of the mountains serves as an underpainting for the foreground.

This is beautiful. I like the white flowers in the foreground.

Re: In The Mountains

Nice distancing of the different planes in this piece, Vanche! The colors are also very appealing. Great job! Congratulations too on the upload - the size is perfect!

Re: In The Mountains

Very nice, and I really like the looseness of the foreground foilage.

Re: In The Mountains

Thank you guys for your warm feed back on my last landscape. It gives me the confidence that I am on the right road.I myself think that I improved my painting skills a little bit.
I forgot to mention that the size of the painting is 9x12 on Daler and Rowney gessoed acrylic paper panted with the same brand of paints.
