FINISHED: Wip - Tomatoes, basil & garlic

This ref can be found in the RIL.

This will be 28.5X11 inches. Not sure what the paper is but it seems to be a fairly fine grain with F-C Polys.
Colours used so far: Cad Yellow, Orange Glaze, Cad Orange, Deep Red, Ceranium Lake, Blue Violet.

First tomato blended with my trusty-dusty bristle blender brush and worked on the next tomato.

The second tomato blended and a partial colour of the third.

Looks beautiful so far - it's a very complicated painting, I've seen this reference done in Pastels, and it's a long way to go. I'm sure you'll make it into a wonderful piece.

Re: Wip - Tomatoes, basil & garlic

ZB3: welcome aboard. All I can say is, I hope this lives up to the way it started.

Susan:

Art:

Assaf: it is a very popular reference. I have done it in acrylics. I love the way the light comes through the colander onto the tomato and the reflections.

MYpencil: hiya

Gary: me too....need breakfast. Actually need coffee first.

Elen: for some reason I do not like the feel of Prismacolors. Hope you will enjoy the WIP and I will continue to list the colours for you

I did notice there was no graphite! You made the leap!

Did I mention I'll be around with snacks and beverages for the group? Possibly some bruschetta......
