This fellow sits with his mate at the entrance to a large house just outside Atwick.

I though he made a rather imposing subject.

I think my grandkids would nick name that one "GRANDMA!!" (Grandma on REALLY bad day...you know when the grandkids aren't behaving. )

Great subject. The fact that the top is cut off bothers me, I think the shot might have looked better vertical

Thanks for stopping by, folks, and for taking the trouble to pass comment. It really is appreciated.

Gateboy: I quite agree - vertical would have made a better picture. I put the bit missing at the top down to trying to get to grips with a new camera (but I guess really it's just carelessness).

Bobby - Framing with a digicam is very different from a film camera especially with a LCD. They tend NOT to show all of the frame. Some as low as 88% of the frame size. Its not always possible but I like to check the composition post shot. Sharp focus is also impossible to see in the LCD
