Re: Lost!
Jeannine,
I use a 3D Digital program from e-on software called Vue 6 Pro Studio. They have half a dozen versions, and this one is the middle of the road. They are a bit pricey, but the best for the money compared to the other high end 3D Programs on the market. This version and the two higher allow you to build most of the objects, such as trees, etc., to create complex 3D scenes.
They have a free Trial PLE learning addition that can be downloaded http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/?page=try if you want to see how it all works. You can use content, or you can construct everything on your own, depending on the version one buys.
It is a lot of fun, but it can be frustrating and takes some learning to get a handle on the possibilities. And, it requires a computer that can push pixels around. It is best to have more than 2 gigs of ram and a high-end Duo and better if a Quad with 8 gigs of ram, a high end Video card, and a x64 Operating System.
WC is not so much oriented for Adobe as it is Corel’s Painter. If you want to learn the Adobe collection Adobe has a book with CD for the basics and you can find Tutorial CD’s everywhere on the web.
I did not use PS CS2 for this image with the exception of cropping and resizing.
