Very nice. Nice directional movement in the strokes and a natural grasp of composition. A figure is a very ambitious first piece and it looks right. Good job.

She did a great job on it RG. That bit of ribbon down the back really adds a lot of the piece.

Quite nice. What an ambitious first piece. I like the soft coloring and I agree with the ribbon down the back.

Hi,

She sarted quite well, especially choosing figure drawing.
It seems that she's an admire or Renoir's works, namely his dancers.

Kind regards,

José

She did an excellent job on a difficult study for her first attempt at OP. She really captures the delicate overlapping stroke work that was so characteristic of Dega's ballet dancers, along with the subtle interplay of colors that bring the white lace of the dress to life.

Very good job.

The color used in this piece is very pleasing. Nice gesture of the figure and of the ribbon at the back of the neck, which is very graceful-looking. Your wife should be very pleased with this piece, especially for a first effort in OP.
