Two more quick portraits (Farmers)

The next two in our Saturday afternoon portrait group. The first is a local lavender farmer
the second is a fruit and vegetable grower.

About 45 mins pastel on canson.
thanks
bethany

Very nice bethany! I like the loose handling of the medium.

Well done in a very short amount of time. The yellows, however, are throwing both portraits off. But, I love the character you've illustrated in both portraits.

Thank you Dana, the yellows are showing too strongly here, but I think its the light I took the photos in. In the sketches, its more warm colours.

Re: Two more quick portraits (Farmers)

That often happens to my photos as well but thought I'd mention it.
