Dockside pics

Thanks to Rich and Wojciech for the tips on making the links work. I was stumped.

Coupla dockside pics. I think the first one would've worked better in landscape, but I love the brilliant blue of the water. I like the curving S of the second, though it covets the blue water of the first.

Hello Vince, yes I very much like the S in your second shot, have you tried increasing the saturation? Might help.
I think landscapes in portrait format are often more visually interesting. Where is this?

It's on the South Shore of Long Island, NY. I took 'em a week or two ago.

When you talk about increasing saturation, are you talking about camera settings, or desktop editing?

At this stage of the game I mean computer processing.
I think the second is probably under exposed and that there's nothing wrong with your camera saturation as the first has good colour.
