Long time no see my friends Very glad to be back and to see the lovely work y'all have been doing
Here is my newest.Due to work( sput sput...bad word) this has been on the easel for a long time and ony got a little done as I found the time.
If you have any advice to improve the old boy I'd love to hear from you

You do these marine scenes so well they are always a pleasure to view.

The only thing that throws me here are the pilings on the right side, they are so close in color that they read at first as one piling. Perhaps some of the detail your so good at on the closest piling would help seperate them? I'm also not real crazy about the beam connected to the first piling either, it doesn't add to the scene and tends to lead the eye out of the picture, it doesnt help that, that, piling also leans outward.

Another small point is the color of the railing on the building, at least on my monitor it looks really close to the boat color. Even if its reality as is I think toning it down to more of a sun bleached pink would make it less of a distraction from the main subject. The davits are also distracting and IMHO dont really add to the scene but perhaps when/if you tone them down they will fade into the background
