I did this one from a photograph of a door from an old house in our town. It was a house built in 1739 (Manor House) and was a children's home, for a number of years .... about 1947. It has now been knocked down for redevelopment.
I love old things ..... maybe because I am getting older

What a cool painting! I love doors and entrances. When I was in Savannah, GA a couple of years ago, I took lots of pictures of the doors and entrances.

Doors make a great subject. I like the color of this one and it's nice that you have it as a memory.

I like old things too. They don't build like they used to. Nice painting. There's something kind of spooky about it.
