This has gotta be the most relaxed squirrel I've ever seen and also a very strange color. It looks like a cat in a squirrel shape.

Hi Eileen, I mentioned in an earlier post of this guy, that I didn't know until recently that black squirrels are not common in other parts of North America or even the world....they are common here in southern Ontario

I think that bird P--P falls under the catagory of "P--P Happens!"
Besides...it makes a house looked "lived in," right? (Gee, I thought EVERYONE'S house had it's own Bird P--P...LOL

After I posted this, I showed this thread to my husband. (He also had never heard of black squirrels.) He says he's seen our squirrels basking like this. He's going to point it out to me next time he sees one. He also thinks Joe Cool is one handsome squirrel. And so do I.
