How Joe Cool got his name

This is a lousy scan of photo taken last year of my friend Joe Cool which will help you understand why I named him that. He is usually even more relaxed and lies flat out with legs hanging down and sleeps in the sun. P.S. pardon the bird p--p but I have no idea how to use photo imaging to get rid of it..thats next on my list of things to learn. Right now other than cropping and a bit of sharpening I can only do sootc

This has gotta be the most relaxed squirrel I've ever seen and also a very strange color. It looks like a cat in a squirrel shape.

Hi Eileen, I mentioned in an earlier post of this guy, that I didn't know until recently that black squirrels are not common in other parts of North America or even the world....they are common here in southern Ontario

Barb,
I think that bird P--P falls under the catagory of "P--P Happens!"
Besides...it makes a house looked "lived in," right? (Gee, I thought EVERYONE'S house had it's own Bird P--P...LOL

I love Joe Cool!

After I posted this, I showed this thread to my husband. (He also had never heard of black squirrels.) He says he's seen our squirrels basking like this. He's going to point it out to me next time he sees one. He also thinks Joe Cool is one handsome squirrel. And so do I.
