David, I love this! The expressions and the pose are both timeless and priceless and yet the painting feels so modern, so contemporary. Your vigorous brushwork brings so much energy and life to this. Its wonderful.

Very nice. I would also use the red somewhere else as it is driving the attention to the 'poney tails' more than anything else. (this is just an opinion of course).
