You have done an excellent job on his head, you've even got those fine whiskers on his muzzle. and his fur colour and texture is good too. Just a small point, you have so much beautiful detail in the beagles head, but not as much in his chest area. Of course this my be intentional on your part, after all it is his face that is the centre of attention, however I feel that you could make a great little painting even better (even sensational) by paying attention to the shadows and folds in his chest. Thank you so much and particularily for the input on the chest area. I was really focused onthe head and could see exactly what you were talking about after you mentioned it. One track mind I guess. Hopefully I will be able to implement your advice in the future.

Grace -- WOW, I just love the way you handled this painting. The photo wasn't good perspective-wise, but I really love the way you have textured the roof and done the logs, and your foliage and grass is stunning. I'd much rather have your painting than the original photo.

Darlene -- Great little Beagle, but I think his eyes, as Grace mentioned, could do with a little more work, but he really is a cutie. Thanks so much for posting him.

Betty -- I just love this little fellow's head and face -- great work. All that it needs is a little more detail in the chest. You've certainly got a very good likeness.
