I thought I saw a bit of that asymmetry in your self-portrait, as well. I think it works very well. Especially in your self-portrait.

Yes, the different angles of the eyes are a tiny bit distracting. Didn't really pay attention to it until I read the posts. I was attracted to the hair. It looks a little bit stiff. My grandson's hair is a bit stiff as well. I think it would be interesting to see his hair as long as the boy's in this picture. Sorry. Went off on a tangent.
