The Golden Gang
Hi all, This is my first post here. The dogs belong to my son and his wife. She is very active in agility training, dogs have many ribbons. W/C on arches. this is my second pet attempt. All comments welcomed. Sandy

This looks like a happy crew! Nice job on the dogs. I especially like how you handled their coats and the grass between their paws.

This is a terrific composition with each dog on a different plane within the painting—that adds a lot of depth.
You've certainly captured their individual personalities.
The only recommendation I have would be to add some of the color from the dog's into the background grasses and put in a few vertical strokes to suggest grass. It looks more like a carpet of green now because it is smooth with horizontal brush strokes. It doesn't take much, you don't have to paint the individual grass stalks, just a few vertical strokes should be enough to suggest it to the viewers.
