Question Wire-bound medium value sketchbook?

My apologies for crashing in on your forum. But perhaps one of you knows of a wire-bound sketchbook (the kind with the nice big spirals) with colored medium-value pages in it?

I've seen a few sketchbooks with toned paper, but they are all fairly light (pink or really light blue, etc). I have one with black paper, which I love, but I would really like more of a medium value, too. Color isn't particularly important, blue, tan, whatever.

The type of paper isn't all that important, either, I'll take anything from watercolor to simple sketch paper. (I'll be using oil pastels on them, but I play on all types of paper.)

Thanks for any replies.

Like Deirdre, I see them everywhere in the UK, they're very common, so I was a bit surprised to hear they might not be abundant in the States?

Re: Wire-bound medium value sketchbook?

Strange.

You really would think that they'd be common. I've never seen any pastel paper spiral-bound. But I have never had regular access to any decent art stores. I can't find anything I'd like on Dick Blick, either, though...

Well, I did cut up my own paper and had Kinko's bind it for me, which works, I suppose.

Thanks, Deirdre and Gavin.
