Gorgeous Ruth, you have such a way of making acrylics look like oils! Your trees and depth are just perfect, as always.

Re: Inlet marsh mural

Ruth, you are much more of a "fine artist" than muralist. Your work blows me away! Your wall art can surely stand the test of time as I don't think I'd ever be tired of looking at it.

I love when you post your work. You take murals to a whole new level.

What they said, Ruth... that's one of my favorite things about your murals... I would NEVER get tired of looking at them... I just sit looking at the pictures, mesmerized.

Re: Inlet marsh mural

This mural makes me feel at home. It looks so much like scenes in south Mississippi. I have fished in areas in the more distant water. In fact, one time several years ago, my husband and I were fishing in a scene that resembles your mural. I was catching fish and he, 3 feet from me in the boat, was not catching anything. Made him mad and he cranked up the engine and drove away as I was actually reeling in a fish.

Re: Inlet marsh mural

Thank you for your comments! This was an interesting challenge to make it look natural and keep within the limits of the color scheme. Brownish tile, reddish-brownish-tan fabric as seen on the left of the photo. I'm pleased with how it turned out, clients are pleased too. The mural is reflected in a large mirror in the adjoining bedroom, nice.

Ruth

What they said!

Ruth, I think I might own the same ladder. Does it have a drawer in front and a place under the shelf that holds a roll of paper towels?
