Degat- nuff said.
Dali- Surrealism is such a great representation of the convergence of the modern drug age and the ancient artifacts/truths that we all once relied on. Good stuff.
Rockwell- America- when America was America. It was like you could feel the hard work that was poured into his portraits that were simultaneously portraying hard American workers or life.

Re: Who are your 3 favorite artists?
1. I've always been attracted to Monet's nature works
2. Rembrandt is my other favorite
3. Degas - In addition to drawing and painting, I'm also a martial artist in the art of ancient Kung Fu. I absolutely love Degas's depiction of the human form and it's movements through dancing which is very similar to many of the movements made when practicing the 12 animal forms in Kung Fu.

Re: Who are your 3 favorite artists?
Very tricky,
but here are three of the best colourists (and in this order I think)
Paul Nash
Paul Klee
Paul Cezanne
maybe its something to do with being called Paul....
If you're not sure about Paul Nash Google 'Landscape of the vernal equinox' - genius....

Re: Who are your 3 favorite artists?
My first introduction to art as a child was my mothers love for Norman Rockwell. I first fell in love with the flowers painted by Georgia O'Keefe.
I consider myself an impressionist, Monet and Peggy Taylor-Carnes (St. Louis, MO)
