where to buy glass rods

Dear All -

I have been buying my rods from Howaco Glass which is now out of business at least temporarily. I liked their selection and the fact that you could buy by the rod.

Where are others buying their glass that it can be purchased in that manner? I can't afford to buy huge quantities of glass. I need to order some soon!

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Ann

I buy from morettiandmore.net too....you can't get better customer service.

I've also ordered from Glassdaddy.com for Lauscha....good experience there too.

Re: where to buy glass rods

I will put in another vote for morettiandmore. I have bought from a few other suppliers and I just like their service that much better. Not only do you get a confirmation when you order, but I also got notice of shipment (I think I did anyway). That is a biggie for me. IT bugs the heck out of me that most glass suppliers do not bother ot tell you that your glass is on the way. I have a postman who occassionally delivers my mail next door and a neighbor who does not walk the mail over. I have to go ask for it. Who knows what she ahs recieved that I don't know about!

Donna is great at answering questions and I get almost immediate responses to my emails.

Re: where to buy glass rods

Thanks for all the good alternate sites. I'm very sad that Howco glass is out of business. I always used them. I hope it's temporary.

Re: where to buy glass rods

...just another plug for Morettiandmore...

I put in an order via email and asked a question about clear options & Bill called me on a Saturday to give me some info....answered my questions & helped me decide....I thought that was exceptional customer service...

Re: where to buy glass rods

ABR Imagery has great service and a huge list. I also do a lot of business with Moretti&More, and GlassCraft. I've had good service from Bridgetown Glass too. I like Bridgetown's pictures and shopping cart.
