RIL Technical Issues/Problems Thread

Hi Kathy,

Myself, Carol & Maureen actually approve the images that are uploaded, so it depends on which one of us happens to be online and in the RIL at the time that you upload as to when they will appear. Actual human beings are behind the curtain! (like the Wizard... )

I have to say though, that I don't see your images in the Approval queue right now.

When did you try to upload them? If it was about a month ago, there were some problems site-wide then with the Uploader, so some things didn't come through - but all seems to be working now.

If it was today, I haven't seen your images. Please do try again!

Just to let you know your latest 2 images of Montana in the Fall have been approved and should show up in a few minutes.

If you have more, I'll have to get to them in later on...it's way past my bed time here!

I'm sorry I didn't notice this thread before posting the forum proper so I copied it here.

Yesterday, (Wed. night) I uploaded several photos I wish to use for the WDE Friday. Today I uploaded 1 more I wish to use and after uploading I got a window saying "pending approval"...I didn't get this window when I uploaded the others and now I'm wondering if they went through.

Can someone confirm they are pending also?? Will they go through in time for the wde Friday 10am (PST)? They are all marked wde 021107 with wde as the keyword.

Hi,

I have just uploaded 5 photos into the RIL.

Was expecting a stage 2 to appear where one can tailor the comments/keywords - but nothing has appeared and the photos seem to have vanished.

Anything appeared ?

Hi, I have a problem accesssing the RIL. Every time I try to access it, I get 404 not found, after it partially loads,,, is this a new glitch

I have made two further attempts, after your first post in reply to mine - and again Sunday morning at 1030GMT; both seemingly failed to post anything into the RIL.

No problem I deleted the dupe post.

I'm also not sure why your uploads are failing, but the image file can only be a maximum of 3.5MB

If your file size is large then that, it won't go through....check that and try again.

You may have put your finger on my mistake - a few of my files show sizes of around 4.3mb. I'll adjust and have another try.

We just discoverd this file size limit a few days ago, so thought I'd ask you about it.
