Hi. I've tried to print out some of the photos to use. The colors are way off from what they appear on my screen. Should I try saving them to my computer first, and printing from my own photo editing program? I sure thought what your screen shows is what you'll see when you print.

Yes, it's best to click on the photo to get the largest image then right click on it and save it to your computer. You can then adjust it to your taste.

Maybe the calibration of your monitor is off. Check out the photobox calibration image, thois allows you to set your monitor and printer to get the best results.

I agree with Doug - the colours depend on your monitor, computer and printer capabilities and the paper you print on.

I always print from my programme - in this case PSP8 - and get best results using good photo paper.

Using your software also allows you to maniplulate, crop, isolate, enlarge etc to suit what you need.

Hay, I noised you got some new images in the Images gallery. Could that be a sign that its fixed? If so Hoorraay. Thanks a bunch.

I haven't seen the announcement yet, I know the techies are working on it and yes there are several new photos dated 12th July 2009.

I managed to upload a photo but got half a page of error messages, so the they must be still working on it.

so i no this is a stupid question but i could upload pics or comment but now there isn't even the upload image button anymore on the RIL, could it be my settings for internet explorer as i have gone in and deleted my cookies but its done nothing to change the problem, what the heck is wrong with this site.

but seriously guys come on, fix the site then we wouldn't have to rave on about it, i have some great photos i want to share with everyone, how can i do that if i cant load themmmmmmmmmmmmm

I might have priveleges because of my admin status, but are you saying that when you go to Content Areas/Reference Image Library there is no "upload photos" option on the right of the header (opposite end to "My Photos")?

I use Firefox BTW.

yep Doug, thats what i'm saying, and you could be right about the admin thing as my guide Bill over in oil pastels said he could upload some pics so i'm asuming thats why he can upload due to that not sure, what do you think...

No I don't think that's your problem, guides have no extra privileges.

Your header should read L to R
"My Photos - My Favorites (xxx messages) Home - Search - Profile - Upload Photos"

I'll have to await an answer from the techies, but make sure you aren't viewing the page at a zoom level which puts the right side off screen.

Thanks Doug, BTW i'm only viewing at 100% but I did think of that too, but its set at 100%, so i will wait to hear what you get back from the techies....thanks for your help sofar...
