Looking for the perfect piece....
Hi all!
This is my first visit to Abstract and Contempary Art. I am very impressed with what I have seen and wish I could spend more time playing. I will be back!
Here is my why I am here. I have a client which needs a large contemporary piece that will fit above their fireplace. The space between the sconces is 67 inches. The dancers, antelope and plants were quickly photoshopped in. I may have sized them a bit big and will adjust when I have time to check my math.
I will be On a wall you can't see are some abstracts with gold, black and white. I will post pics of them later. Note the red in the room. There is a red chair too.
Does anyone have anything that will work? I will be sending a link to the clients so they can watch and participate in this thread.
Thanks for you help!

If you think an abstract mural would add to the pleasantness and harmony of the existing set-up, we shall think on those lines - that is my feeling.

Thanks Wenkat, Any ideas are appreciated!
I know for a fact my math was off and the antelope and dancers are too big. I will resize!

Have a few. These would not appear as bright as they do here. I didn't dull them down to "fit the environment" just so you could see more of the detail. These are on stretched canvas.

Re: Looking for the perfect piece....
These are both highly textured/sculptural large pieces approximatley 48"x24" and stand out from the wall about 3"-4".

And a close up

Re: Looking for the perfect piece....
how about these from my personal collection, both are textured metallic art. The bottom one is layered with metal copper leaf.

Re: Looking for the perfect piece....
These are all very nice paintings! It seems like you have a good selection.
Here is one I did 30"x40" on stretched canvas unframed. The colors are not showing 100% accurately. The red is brighter and the overall painting is a little brighter.

Tilly99, did you forget to load the picture?
As, I said I would do in my original post, here are the pieces which 3 of the 4 hang behind the sofa.
The dancers and antelope are going to have to remain oversized for now.
Now off to work I go....

Re: Looking for the perfect piece....
FWIW, I like D-head's landscape best because it harmonizes perfectly with the room, even the blue ceiling. Close behind is Fazzy01's copper stripe, which also looks good with the copper sculptures on either side. I couldn't pull up Bev's paintings because I think WC is slow today, verrry slow.
