Propane only torch -glass discolouration?

Hi
I was interested in getting a hothead torch or similar which runs on propane only.
However does anybody know if it can cause glass issues? I have read that propane only isn't suitable for Bullseye but is ok with Effetre & Vetrofond. I read somewhere else that Propane only can discolour light coloured glass.
Does anybody know anything about that?
Thanks

I think the reason that you would not want to use just propane with Bullseye glass, is because it's 90coe. It's not as soft as Effetre and Vetrofond which is 104coe. Creation is Messy is also 104coe, so you do have lots of glass to chose from.....having said all of this, bear in mind, I've never worked on a hothead. I use a mixed gas torch, which gets more heat into the flame.
I hope this helps you with your question.
All the best,
ginger

The discoloration can come from the wrong heat harder to control on a hot head
