Would you be interested in Florida?
I was wondering how many would be interested in coming to Amelia Island, Florida for a Getaway in May. The weather should be nice..not too hot and there are many places to stay, bed and breakfasts, motels, beach houses or resorts depending on how much you want to spend. There are a variety of subjects to paint, the beach, the marsh, the river, very old oak trees with spanish moss, antebellum homes, a lighthouse, large driftwood, shrimp boats and boats in the marina, the oldest saloon in the state to name just a few.
Let me know what you think.

Hey Deb,
I'd love to, but could only possibly do it the weekend of the 4th or 11th. Inbetween those two dates the family will be in Disneyworld, so I can possibly hop over to Amelia and then fly home from there.

Arlene and Berrell the weekend of the 11th is good. I will call around and get some prices for hotels, etc. and have some numbers later this week.

May 11th weekend sounds good to me too. I was just thinking about dates...so I can plan on going to my sister's for a week this year too. This will help me work on the time frame.

My wife and I would be interested in going on the weekend of the 11 th. Let me know about hotels etc. We also like b & Bs. Let us know where everyone is staying as it was fun to stay together last time.
