Nickel, I don't really consider myself a classical artist and I am very flattered that you feel my owl would go here. It is a Great Horned Owl done in watercolor on 9x12 clayboard. Thank you for the invitation. I hope everyone enjoys it.

Lovely!! Yes Finnegan this is a classic pose you see many of the naturalist take (the bird in his envirionment) well done. And Garbonso your Owl is stunning, did you know they can rotate their heads in greater degree than any other creature. Almost 180 in either direction. Awesome creatures.
Birds of Prey are my favorite!

here is a Blue Jay I did about a month ago but I think his body is a little too long. He is a tall one LOL.
