Busy still life

Here is a 36x24" still life done as a commission. The objects all represent members in the client's family (Grandma's teacup, eucalyptus for a trip to Australia, knots in a rope for three generations in the navy, etc...). This is some of my first paid work. Any thoughts?

Lovely, strong, cohesive. The crossing diagonals really make this piece and although each element seems a little strange together, they work well.

An effective design. I like the way the reds balance. The combination of the reds and the diagonal golf club makes my eyes move in a figure eight.
