New hobby

Hello, I am suffering from empty nest syndrome!
So, laden with brushes, watercolours, canvas etc I am attempting to try my hand at watercolours. My first attempts have been pretty poor, I have to say. So am hoping to learn to paint better through all your pages here. And perhaps make some friends along the way. Wish me luck?

Welcome to the Watercolor Forum. Glad you found a new hobby and the place to learn all about it and share the results with others who love this medium.

I've asked one of the Moderators to move your thread to the general Watercolor section which is where people introduce themselves. The Gallery is where you'll post your finished paintings and view other peoples paintings as well. I'm looking forward to seeing one of yours here soon.

Me too on the empty nest syndrome. I got dogs instead of another kid and resurrected my watercolor habit.
