This is Miya, a baby giraffe. This was her first time out in public and she kept standing in the same place watching people. At this point she was already six feet tall though she looks tiny next to her 12 ft mother!

All precious photos.
I didn't even think the baby giraffe was real. I thought it was a stuffed animal.
I am amazed how small the baby elephant looks compared to the elephant's legs in the background.
And although fearless, the bobcat looks so cuddly. However, look at those claws!
But I cannot get over the look in the eyes of the furry monkey. It touches my heart.

A cluster of Jack-o-lantern mushrooms took up residence in my yard last year.....
