Not sure what kind of bird this is, but the photo was taken in Kenya.
The photo below is of a dangerous animal.

Taken at the Phoenix Zoo photos - they looked more bored than dangerous but I wouldn't want to step into their territory

I enjoy looking at old pictures. Look how happpy your mom looked and it looks like your brother was really into the kitty.
Also check out that stroller. It was probably a deluxe model in those days. Times have changed.
