Vase apples cherries

Just finished this painting after a brief painting slump. 14"x18", oil on stretched canvas. C&C welcomed. Thank you for looking.

Hi Larry, nice piece, full of movement. I am not sure about the white it almost makes the corner seem as though it is going to drop off and it really draws the eye. I would much rather be loking at the vase and fruit on the right than the left side of the painting.

Hi Carol: Thank you so much for looking and commenting. I think you make a very good point regarding the white. It is really pulling the eye, isn't it? I'm going to experiment in that area and see if I can't tone that back a bit.
