Sorry to be late. I am trying to slide in before people show up with the paintings from this week.
I have loved the work of the French painter, Raoul Dufy (1877 - 1953), since I was a child. I made copies of a couple of his paintings for fun in the past, but this time I painted the Tennessee Theater in his style. I think I should have painted more loosely but I hope you can see his influence here and there.
The harsh shadows were too difficult for my ability. The building in the middle is looking like a cracker with something growing on it

, but I couldn't make it better. I like the Edward Hopper-ish building on the far right though.
