Invitation To Wde March 9

hello WDE'ers!

Please join me as we can make some 'new' art history on March 9, 2007 5:30am, as we visit Heritage Park, Calgary, Alberta... a recreation of small town Alberta life in the early 20th century.

Images and/or challenges will be posted 30 minutes before the start of the event, with a title , e.g. “WDE (plus date)IMAGES HERE", and Lightbulb icon.
You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials.

For the next two hours, just go for it! Use any medium or style – it’s up to you……then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in a new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.

Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Monday.

It’s fun to all participate at the same time but not always possible! Please join in whenever you can – you have a whole week!

After posting your contribution, please view others’ entries and comment and encourage. Unless requested, please refrain from critiquing.

I will be posting the photos on Friday March 9 at 5:30am Mountain Standard Time. Don't worry, i'm up at that time anyway. i'll be posting before i go to work. That will give you all plenty of time to participate over the weekend or in the week after, till the next WDE begins. Look here for the time in your area... World Time Clock

I hope this is something a little different that everyone can enjoy. can't wait to see what you come up with!

Won't be able to be in at the start because it'll be Fri evening here, and smack in the middle of my son's birthday party. But I'm definitely going to do something. Just one WDE and it's become something like a weekly fix I must have.

But, pardner, I hope things won't be too difficult.

WOW! Early bird or what? I'm hoping to make it this weekend. I'll peak in for sure.
My dad use to live in High River so I know Calgary well. I lived in Banff as a ski bum many moons ago!! Love the area the only thing missing is the ocean and it'd be perfect!!!

mikey... just got some new, kewl pencils... havent had a chance to do anything but open the plastic... TA DA!!! they're ready for Friday...
