CanCan Girls

MY IMAGE(S):

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Title: CanCan Girls
Year Created: 2007
Medium: Oil
Surface: Canvas
Dimension: 12 x 16
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!

MY COMMENTS:
Done from a small photo - I really enjoyed doing this one and tried to be free and bold with my brushstrokes.

The first is the final painting and the other 2 are close ups.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
All comments and critiques are welcome and very much appreciated.

Re: CanCan Girls

woo hooo! The dresses are just fabulous! I like this!! You can tell it was fun to paint, too.My only nick is that I'd like to see the two arms a little smoother.

But, that is a minor point. This is a light hearted, fun piece.

Reds and pinks: what was needed for such a "lovely" subject!
Excellent brush work.

Re: CanCan Girls

Susan, you've got the way of making a busy figurative work look like an abstract !
Is that a compliment ?
Yes, take it, take it

You surely done quite a lot on such a small scale work
Delightfully musical
