Today's Sunrise (Dec. 29, 2006)
Just happened to open my curtains at the right time this morning (usually I leave them closed) and the sunrise was there to greet me. When I first saw it was going to be a red morning it was just a faint red in the semi-dark, but by the time I grabbed the camera and tripped over the dawg and got outside, this is how it looked.
Five minutes later it was over and gone ... the fleeting beauty of Ma Nature!!!
Hope you enjoy it, too!
Cheers,
Sue

Red Blanket!
Great color and drama!
Love the snow too. We don't get much snow here.

Wow!! Sue the sky is magic, the colours are so rich, you were lucky to stumble on it. I am amazed at the amount of snow you have, it looks so beautiful but it must make life difficult?

Nice sunrises. I like the snow, too. It's great to see it when I don't live in it.

What a beautiful sky! I love how the mountain ridge is accentuated in the first photo...almost like a line has been drawn there.

Holy cats! Sue, that first photo almost looks like the sky of the Christmas card I painted. ( Just wanted the words to stand out against a dramatic background). Didn't really think there'd be a sky that colour! Love the sky colours and the third photo.

Sue, great photos, all of them. I have to know, was it "red sky in morn, sailor take warning"?

Yup another dump of snow ....
Thanks for looking and commenting, Folks!
It was an unusual sky for here, too.
Cheers,
