Shuttlecocks

Here is another picture I took on the grounds of the Nelson-Atkins Museum. I took Wendy's advice and spent a little more time in post processing. Did levels in Pentax Photo Lab. Resized and cropped slightly in Elements 2.0, then slight increase in contrast and decrease in brightness for my printer.

Critique and comments are welcome.

Re: Shuttlecocks

Thanks for the comments, Damar and Deb,

The shuttlecocks have caused a stir on Steve's Forums. It is a strange composition. There are four of these on the grounds of the Nelson.

They were very controversial when first installed. Now, people are used to them and there have been other public installations that were a lot more controversial.

To me, they are sculpture as humor and whimsy.
