Another ET portrait


My second ET portrait attempt. I was trying out a verdaccio underpainting but I haven't used this technique before and it went a bit haywire. Not to worry, I painted over it. I will try out the verdaccio again. Maybe I'll get it right later.

I am still trying to get used to the thickness and thinness of the ET (watercolour and egg yolk) and how to apply it successfully.

This portrait is loosely based on a photo I took of myself. The composition is influenced by my copy of Botticelli.
