My Passion of Christ
Here is one of my fovourite paintings done 2004, just thought I'll show you
Its acrylic and about 1 mtre by 850 cm wide.
It usually shocks.
What do you think, it was inspired by my watchiing the movie Passion of Christ

Your picture is very powerful and angry. Is this when Jesus said "My God, why have you forsaken me?" Jesus is very loving, and taught how to treat people with love and kindness. I know he did get angry...as we all do...but I prefer to portray him with smiles. Although I am working on a picture of Him on the cross, and of course, he is not smiling. If you are interested, I will post it when I am finished. By the way, how do you post your drawings on this site? I have been working on several pictures of Jesus recently for my sister-in-law to give to her daughters as Christmas presents. I am working with colored pencil and am new to this medium. Thirty years ago, I did an oil painting of Jesus on the cross and am trying to put in more details and facial expression with colored pencil.
Your picture was very good and gripping!! And powerful, as was the movie. I love the movie and I love your drawing.

It just dawned on me that maybe you were trying to portray the moment before Jesus took his last breath. Mark 15:37 "With a loud cry, Jesus took his last breath." Am I right? Would you mind explaining why you were inspired to do this painting?

click on go advanced then inset image, browse and get it on your computer.Wc will resize it to the right size.. upload image....then you click on picture it adds it in. gives you a big picture not a small thumbnail

I was inspired to do this just thinking of the agony He went through and that just for us, this is actually the pain He experienced while beeing hit, before the crucifiction.

Powerful!!!!! He went through the most difficult of things in order to obey his father and love us. Wow! Great painting!

This painting is now sold and hanging in a church somewhere.
Just to let you kow, i was wondering who would buy it,people dirtectly told me "I would not hang this in my House"
