Re: Iris and Lillies
Really quite neato Linda! I detect a strong sense of warmth in this and I love how the warm colored lillies frame that gorgeous blue iris! Almost like four fiery knights protecting their queen. Lovely.

Re: Iris and Lillies
Hey Linda when I first saw this I immediatley thought of Monet's Irises. You have a Monet'ish thing going on with your style and that's not a bad thing at all girl. Would love to see you working on a larger format some time. They would really blow everyone away if they were big in-your-face canvases
I do love your lights!

Re: Iris and Lillies
Thank you Elaine.
I've never thought of my work as being anything like Monet's though. He is not one of my favorite painters at all. LOL It's always interesting to find out what others see in your work isn't it?
All of my large format work is in oils. You can see some of them on my web site.
Love,
Linda
