Re: Class Reunion
I have a horror of even numbers in paintings but the guy with the white coat stepping forward kind of negates this in a way. Still would have preferred four behind him. I think it is a fun painting . Don't need sunglasses, just enjoying the sunshiny pleasure of this. Chammi.

Re: Class Reunion
thanks stephan and Chammi. Glad you are not blinded! lol
Chammi, the 'guy' in a white coat is a girl and I painted this with a family of 5 guys and one girl in mind But I like even numbers anyway, often paint 4 people since I have 3 sisters.

Very nice piece. Love the colors, no sunglasses needed here, I love paintings with lots of brilliant colors. Good Work!

Re: Class Reunion
Fun.
One thought, and only because someone mistook the figure in white for male -
Yes, the white figure has a definite figure, but the shape of the head is the basically the same, and feminine, for all of the figures. If you squared the jawlines on the five guys- make their heads less pointy side down egg shape, more oval or block shaped, wouldn't have to be a lot - it would make the gender difference read more clearly - the figure in white would not only have a womanly figure, she'd be the only one with a feminine facial shape.
They seem like the kind of people you'd invite to your party to make sure it was exciting.

Re: Class Reunion
Very cool painting. My first impression were 6 girls, with the front one being the sassy one in the bunch

Re: Class Reunion
Oh I dooooo like this. The girl has such cute curves and a very sexy stance. I have to admit though, that at first glance they all looked like girls till I took note of the curves. Would it help to make the men look more masculine? You could square off their jaws a bit maybe?? Just thinking out loud.
LOVE the blue against the orange/red!
Looking forward to that coffee/chat/giggle!
