DETAILS:
Join us October 6th and 7th, 2006, at the Valley River Inn for our 7th Annual Art Glass Auction & Benefit Dinner. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, helping us to finance the high operating costs involved in running a nonprofit glass school. Your attendance and support help us to maintain and upgrade our facility and equipment so that we can continue to offer quality classes to the public. By purchasing an Auction ticket, you also help support the many artists who have chosen the Eugene Glass School as their location for premier art glass education!

There is nothing but wonder in the art of glass, and this year’s Auction promises to be filled with unforgettable moments. The night before the Auction at 6:30pm, you are invited to meet the donating artists and preview a spectacular array of glass art at the Valley River Inn. Join us at 7:30pm, as Linda Ethier, renowned glass artist, shares her view of the glass art world and its effect on her life. Also, don’t miss out on Linda Ethier and Charlie Lowrie’s FREE glass-sculpting demonstration at the Eugene Glass School at 11am on the day of the Auction!

On October 7, you are cordially invited to join us for “An Enchanted Evening” at the Valley River Inn. Over 150 donated works of art by glass artists like Robert Mickelsen, Shane Fero, Milon Townsend, and Kathleen Sheard will be auctioned to benefit the Eugene Glass School, a nonprofit organization. This event begins at 5:30pm with the Silent Auction, followed by the Live Auction and Benefit Dinner at 7:30pm.

For tickets or information on proxy bidding please contact us at 541-342-2959 or visit www.eugeneglassschool.org. Auction Tickets are $65, which includes Friday’s slide lecture. The Friday night lecture is $10 at door, and is free to Eugene Glass School members and donating artists. For special room rates contact the Valley River Inn at 1-800-543-8266 or visit www.valleyriverinn.com and don’t forget to mention that you are attending the Auction.
