10 minute plein air sketch

Here's a small plein air of the infamous Fenland sky with a little land to ground it.
Approx 10 mins, no pencil straight in with the brushes on canvas sheet with Finity.

Lots of movement in that sky......Are these quickies exercises in loosening-up or a whole new direction for you?

Hi Anita

You always do such lovely detailed work that I was really curious about what you could do in 10 minutes, and it's beautiful!

Re: 10 minute plein air sketch

Thankyou all for your encouraging comments. So pleased energy and movement were mentioned in your replies, I feel this is one of the advantages I have noticed working from life.

Audrey this is part of an information bank project I am working on, I go around with my sketchbooks sketching anything and everything in my sight in the hope of building a mental reference bank I can hopefully rely on when completing future pieces aswell as improving my drawing skills. What influence this will have on my works is a mystery to even myself at this stage.
