Golf Course

This is the 2nd golf course I have painted, it's very similar to one I painted 10 months ago. This is only my 3rd canvas painting. I'm still learning, so any C & C is welcome.

Re: Golf Course

Look at those clouds! I think it all works, from the distant mountains to the water fall. Your mural skills transfer well to a smaller canvas.

Beautiful rich colors my friend, looks great!! Interesting mix of perspective between the distant mountains into an almost arial of the river. Wish i could see a larger shot.....dang size restrictions

Re: Golf Course

Thanks Doc! Means lots to me It is very different working from a wall to a 16X20 canvas!

Ray- I used a couple different ref. photo's and changed them to what I wanted. I enjoyed all the colors...love color. I see a few things that I would have done differently but oh well now Thanks!

Re: Golf Course

Really nice. Though I am not a golf fan (I think it just ruins a good walk, hauling those sticks about), you have captured a good scene. Love your shadows particularly.

Re: Golf Course

I love this perspective - it takes it out of the realm of just another pretty painting and gives the viewer something else to consider. Congratulations Deb!

Re: Golf Course

Thanks everyone...wow...I'm so happy you like the shadows because they are usually difficult for me.

Dorothy- that is so nice of you to say!
