another wacom "original": purple haze
<IMG SRC="http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/25-Feb-2001/jimi.JPG" border=0>
I had fun doing this the last 2 days...chose to do a monochromatic study before I go full-on color...the focus was mostly on the face; the coat and hand need a lot more work. I used the "oil pastel" mode. pretty fun!

WOW!! You've really captured him here. The purple monochrome really looks good.
Having fun with your new toy I see, keep up the great work!! You're making me want to run out and try one. I never even bother trying to draw with the mouse, it's like drawing with a bar of soap, lol!

thanks taghera, michael and kim...
kim-go get one; you won't be sorry...by the way, you don't use a mouse. it comes with a stylus. feels like a pencil. the other end works like an eraser.
thanks, again!

thanks, teanne, that's means a lot to me.
connor: yes, it is a computer tool shaped like a pen/pencil. you "draw/paint" with it onto a large mousepad-like tablet. it is sensitive to pressure of which you can gauge according to your personality, so to speak.
