A new train painting
I've posted one or two train paintings in the past and here's another. This one depicts Santa Fe trains near Somerville, TX. Arches 140 CP with W&N. 11 x 17.

Re: A new train painting
Man...we sure are starting to see some wonderful new artists these days....
Welcome to WC!....
I like how these guys are nose to nose in the "sweet zone"...and the undefined f/g....
I will assume they are on different tracks....;-)

Re: A new train painting
Thanks for the positive comments, all!
Yep, they are on parallel tracks with slight uphill grade - right to left.

Heavens. I hope they are on different tracks. Would hate to see two such beauties smashed up. Very good painting. Also agree , maybe a little work on the foreground. Just a touch - don't want to detract from those fabulously painted trains. Chammi.
