Impassioned introduction

I've been lurking and posting here for the last couple of weeks and thought it was about time I properly re-introduced myself by posting one of my paintings.

This painting marks my return to the brush after almost 3 years. It feels great to be able to paint again and have the creative juices flowing. Sometimes life throws a wrench in the works but it feels oh so good to be back on the easel.

Title: Impassioned
Acrylic and molding paste on canvas. 8"x10"

C & C is always welcome.

Hi Nisha,

Great texture. I think you were painting your return to the passion!

Thanks for all your lovely comments.
It does indeed feel like I have rediscovered my passion and wet canvas ab/con seems like the perfect place to share it.

Re: Impassioned introduction

Oh this is gorgeously done and a delicious red abstract!! I Love the highlights and textures you achieved in the flowing red shapes! I was surprised to see it was 8 x 10 inches I thought it was much larger.

Re: Impassioned introduction

Thanks for the encouraging comments.

Yes, if I can help it I will not stop painting again. I just have to pace myself which is why I'm starting out small. Chronic pain is well, a pain. I've finally gotten to the point where life is a little normal again and am going to keep it that way.

Re: Impassioned introduction

Wow! Bravo! What a great molten extrusion of color and texture! I'm oh so glad you picked up the brush again!

Pacing oneself is the real deal... I know!

Hope to see much more of your work.

Bravo!

Ken
