Re: View from the Hedge
Very nice! For some reason the two seem to go together well. Great mixture idea.

Re: View from the Hedge
Dave, Thanks for the tutorial on grass/lawns. Before the grass was laid in, this looked very unfinished.
Dan, Thanks! I am partial to both subjects. The folks here encouraged me to try mixing them!!

Re: View from the Hedge
Excellent. I have a photo of a lighthouse I have fond memories of, but it's a very simple lighthouse like yours. You've inspired me to draw it anyway and put something interesting in the foreground.

I'm sure Dave or Val would have edited my initial response to this piece. Suffice to say, I love the composition and your P&I technique is growing by leaps and bounds. As Montgomery Burns would say, "Excellent."

Re: View from the Hedge
I like the conposition of this very much - as well as the contrasting subjects - the combination is very intriguing and is sure to hold the viewer's eye longer.

Re: View from the Hedge
The roses and the lighthouse go well together. You mentioned that you were going to try this combo, and it came out beautifully.

Re: View from the Hedge
Hi Chris,
These lighthouses of yours are coming out quite nicely. I really like a high contrasting lighthouse image which you seem to like doing. Keep up the good work Chris!
