MY COMMENTS:
i wanted to capture the outdoor painting that we were in one day.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
to me it seems unfinished, not "polished".
is the background color wrong?
any other comments willbbe appreciated

Nicoletta this is a charming painting. Well done.

I do see a couple of areas that it would possibly help to work on.

The lower half background needs to be a little more convincing. Perhaps a delineated piece of grass here and there would help provide more of a feel of mother nature rather than paint.

Also you are having some trouble with your left arm and hand. I will see if I can dig out a picture later and send it through regarding what I mean. mjk

unfortunately I was unable to find one with that particular angle. heaps of other angles though. The best that i could do was send you through this one. Note the size of the hand in relation to the rest of the area.

Hi, great start. I love the way her left elbow points straight at the viewer. The hand is too small though. I think this piece deserves a better background - my first thought was that she was painting plein air - and then we must of cource see what she sees !
A few small things, the bags and stool on the left are sort of floating - or they are on a raised area.

Attached is an illustration of what it could look like (a bit magritt-ish fun)....

thanks for the instruction...make sense about the background and i think that was what bothered me.............ah,yes,the hand,it was tricky for me to do (could not see it good in the photo) and i will fix that also.... again thanks for the help nicki
