FND- Rose - Fabric

Hi all

I was going to try something in clay but didn't feel like getting dirty tonight so I went with fabric again. This isn't very far along after just 2 hours but here it is so far. Fabrics are a bit slow to work with. This has been really fun

How do you do this? Can you give us an idea of how you work it? I'd love to know.

You do such good work with the fabric. Looks like you got a lot done in 2 hours. When you finish it, please let us see it.

Awesome! What a neat idea to do the flower in fabric! I can imagine the work involved doing this. Please, if you finish it up post the finished product ... I'd love to see it!!

wow di, i don't know what to say ...and you think that this end result for 2 hours is slow!!! beautiful, really lovely!
I have to ask this... exactly how many different quarters of material do you have? (I'm guessing ...like thousands!)

Morning All

Thanks so much for all the nice comments. I am still planning to change the fabrics that make up the rose bud...I didn't have time to find what I really wanted for color.

Artdudette: I was asked a similar question in mixed media recently and I am thinking of doing a progress picture thing if I start my lizard piece this week. I'll let you know when I get something posted.

Imp: Gosh, I dunno...not thousands YET. I left a lot of my fabrics in Canada when I moved so I am happily collecting again. Soon I hope

Di

A pleasure to look at Diane. This is so creative. I love the leaves.

Is that a little frog I see to the right?

Diane I love how you use fabric for these! It gives it such added beauty!! Its amazing to see how you marry the various patterns together to get the overall effect. I cant wait to see it finished! Your work is just so spectacular!!
